Open MapEd.</div> <bR> <div> 2. Hit F12: should see a dialog saying "PCX file Exported": This means that a PCX image of your VSP was exported. </div> <bR> <div> 3. Hit ALT-X.</div> <bR> <div> 4. Open an imaging program (something that supports PCX)</div> <bR> <div> 5. Open the PCX file in the folder where MapEd resides. The file shuld be named "UNTITLED"</div> <bR> <div> 6. Notice that your palette changed? (This is not the traditional 256-color pallette, it is the VERGE pallette that Verge is accustomed to).</div> <bR> <div> 7. Edit away, change the size, or anything,(you can also take out the cellpadding)</div> <bR> <div> 8. Save changes. </div> <bR> <div> 9. Re-open MapEd and do the following:</div> <bR> <div> [a] Press ESC.</div> <div> [b] Click layers.</div> <div> [c] Click IMPORT IMAGE</div> <div> [d] Click Browse and find the Editied PCX file you were working on.</div> <div> [e] Click ok. </div> <bR> <div> Finally</div> <bR> <div> You now have a map in the VERGE palette.</div> <div> Enjoy.</div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
