Evil Night

"A decent House of the Dead copy..."
Let me start off by saying this is a fun game. You can use either a pistol or a shot gun. You reload by shooting off the screen or pumping the shot gun.
Game Play: (10/10) This game is really fun. Up to three people can play at once. You can choose from either a pistol or a shot gun for the controller. But after awhile, you may get used to it, well at least I did after dieing a lot. But, you get about four health.
Story: (3/10) What can I say? It is basically another House of the Dead style game. I never really enjoyed the stories, these games mainly give me enjoyment with their game play. You go through this house looking for this girl. You shoot up these skeletons, zombies, and some other weird monsters. Some may have weapons like a weapon that looks like a chain saw, or some may just try to eat you.
Sound: (6/10) It is ok, but sound could have been better. But not many arcade games sound very good, at least to me. Well, mainly the voices are what sound poor, but the guns sound pretty good.
Controls: (6/10) It is mainly shoot off the screen type controls, at least for the pistol. Now for the shotgun, it tends to get hard to reload. Even though all you have to do is just pump, it don't always reload. So you end up pumping it like three or four times to get it reloaded.
Graphics: (5/10) Graphics could have been better. They are a little choppy. But who really cares about graphics, well I don't really care if the game is really fun.
Replay value: (10/10) This is what I love about this game, I can end up spending four or five dollars on this game since it is only fifty cents where I am at. It is still fun beating the game over and over and over again. Not too many games hit me like that. If this games came to a console, it may not be fun since it is one of those games that are only fun in arcades.
Overall: (7/10) Though, poor controls and graphics, it is a fun game. Go out and try it if a local arcade has it near you, you may not be a big fan of shooting games, but you may like this. So if you have made it to the bottom of this review, what are you waiting for? GO NOW!
