A great guy named Joe contacted me earlier this week with some info on Nectaris. (This guy kicks ass, he use to write sega games.) He's actually beaten the game, better than I, LOL. He might be interested in making a PC Nectaris Map editor, but for now he's providing us with a little insight on the save format of the game. Will post more as it becomes avaliable here and here.

Joe's hint, In the PC DOS version, there can be you and 3 enemy computer players OR Some like SPEC (YELLOW) and WALL (RED) will help YOU, IF you do not attack them first. They will go after the computer NORM (GREEN) with you. In the last level you have all 3 other players against you and they have each the same number of weapons as you. Sometimes the computer brain takes an awful long time to decide for a move since some levels can be very big with a large number of units like around 250-300. Average is 150 units.
